The Nephilim Trials: Book Two The Mortal War is over, Valentine is dead. In order to investigate the alliance between Shadowhunters and Faeries, the Clave sends Helen Blackthorn, a part faerie, and Isabelle Lightwood, one of few Nephilim to have ties to the courts, into the faerie realm. When Isabelle and Helen go missing, the Clave refuses to send a rescue mission so Clary, Jace, Simon, Magnus, and Alec defy the order and attempt to find and save the two girls.
