The Crown's Shadow is a short story about Princess Fern, who finds herself in a dangerous situation when she is attacked by an assassin while gathering blueberries with her maid. Fleeing into a forest, she takes refuge in a cave. Needing to get back to the castle before the assassin finds her, she goes on an adventure and finds out just who wants her dead.

After Tamlin confronts Feyre's hovel as the beast, but her sisters, Aelin and Lysandra, refuse to give her up to him, they're all taken to the Spring Court. *ACOTAR if Aelin and Lysandra were Feyre's sisters instead of Nesta and Elain*
