Ninjago City is a neon paradise, but for Y/N, it's a frozen graveyard. Homeless, starving, and ignored by a world that treats him like a ghost, he finally breaks. Leaving the cruel city behind, he wanders into the mountains during a freezing storm, seeking nothing but the quiet peace of the grave. Instead, he unseals an ancient tomb and awakens the Hypnobrai tribe. Standing before hundreds of bared fangs and spears, Y/N doesn't run. He welcomes the blade. Stripped of his fear, his raw apathy catches the attention of the brilliant, calculating Skales. Seeing a mirror of their own exile in the broken human boy, Skales offers Y/N a dark bargain: a home, a family, and fire for his bones. In return, Y/N will use his human knowledge to help the Serpentine tear the surface world down. In the dark of the earth, a boy who was left to freeze might just find that cold-blooded monsters make the warmest family.

This is an ongoing story about how Skales saved Pythor that day from the Great Devourer and brought him to safety. There are a few bumps in the road (mostly Pythor having major trust issues) but their relationship will only strengthen and bloom into possibility something more. Aimed at a teenager+ audience, providing that you're comfortable with possibly mature themes as the story progresses. I will put warnings before and after anything like that anyway so you can skip if you want to. Disclaimer- I do not own the artwork in the story cover.

It has been a while since Lord Garmadon has been gone through a vortex, but he will return one day. Despite their lack of training, the Ninja encountered a mischievous little boy named Lloyd Garmadon, the son of Lord Garmadon. Lloyd has mistakenly unleashed an ancient race of snake people in five tribes called the Serpentine, which means an ancient evil has been released. Meanwhile, the Ninja discovered a scroll that holds a prophecy of a legendary Green Ninja destined to defeat the Dark Lord and the Ninja, except for Alisa, must figure out who is the true identity of the Green Ninja. As of now, the Ninja must fine a way to stop the five Serpentine tribes from uniting themselves and find the five silver Fangblades that will unleashed the mother of all snakes that will consume all of Ninjago, the Great Devourer! Takes place somewhere in the series... Kai Smith was casually just walking down the street, when he was captured by snakes. Skales hypnotized him by some spell, and now he is working for them. Marrium Clycs is Jay's best friend (Besides Cole) and Kai's crush, whereas she also has a crush on him. She works with the ninja to save Kai. (Y/N) (L/N) is a young photographer, and Zane's sister (although you are not a robot.). You are recruited by the ninja to help save Kai also. (Y/N) is talented, and knows everything about the ninja, and Kai's moves. But you never imagined that you would fall for a certain cute ninja. Let the tale of our characters begin. DISCLAIMER! Young Lloyd Garmadon, in a fit of petty revenge against the Fangpyre and Hypnobrai opens the long-forgotten Anacondrai tomb and meets a lone surviving member of the tribe. Zane's sacrifice was to always be remembered, and had brought the Ninja and their sisters closer as a family. Wu and Garmadon have been making progress with their alliance with the Serpentine. Most Serpentine children attended Wu's Academy and Ninjago High. For Angel and Dawn, this was amazing since now they weren't the only animals species attending school on the surface. The Ninja taught some Serpentine Spinjitzu while Angel became a part time tutor. Even most citizens hired a few snakes to work for their companies or gave them decent jobs. All was going well but a certain noodle shop owner was not what he seemed. Yet again, a new threat approached Ninjago that could ruin the peaceful alliance that was already forming between the Serpentine and the humans. Not only that, but there were bonds to be mended. Angel knew that not everyone had received their "happy ending" ever since the battle against the Overlord. But, where could she even start?

This was originally a book for one shots based on my series but has turned into the fourth book of my series The Last Sphinx. Takes place in the sixth season of ninjago, skybound. Not everything is accurate to the season, but this is done on purpose since it is based off of my fanfic idea.
