What is love?
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, love is an attraction based on sexual desire: affection and tenderness, felt by lovers.
Carson Walker defines love as a waste of time. Love inevitably ends in heartbreak. After watching her mother go through man after man she's decided that love is utterly useless. People fall in love, simply to get hurt by those they love.
However when Carson herself finds herself falling in love with an unexpected person, does she allow herself to love or simply push him as far away as possible? Love is inevitable in life, but so isn't heartbreak. Does Carson learn that maybe love isn't so bad or that she's already known and felt love?
