Blair is sixteen and lives in a small, remote town tucked deep in the Appalachian Mountains, where everyone knows each other and nothing ever really feels new. The house is always a little too full and a little too loud, but it's the kind of place everyone comes back to eventually.

cynthia grew up her whole life in appalachia surrounded by ghosts. she could never see them, but she felt them. fear of the supernatural goes out of the window when you're surrounded by it for so long. but soon, things will start to take a turn when "the thing" emerges. after the terrorization of her whole family by this entity, cynthia decided to take action. (the beginning is rocky but it's going to get good i promise! i have big ideas for this story)
