A J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit fanfiction that starts a little before the end of the movie/book and tells a story of what could have happened in between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Details may be slightly altered to fit the story. Thranduil looks around at all the death and destruction that lay amongst him, his people scattered throughout the mess.
