The storm was horrifying. Brendon had never gotten a live look at its destruction before. Winds howled like ravenous wolves. Trees bowed to its might. Debris swirled in small cyclones. It didn't look survivable for long. Yet, a figure stood in the middle of it all. They faced away from Brendon, as if taking in the destruction that was all around them. Brendon turned to his friends, quickly counting to make sure everyone was there. When he turned back to the street, the figure was gone. Halloween gets a bit more real this year. The real world blends with something that can't possibly exist within this reality... can it?
