Scar, having a new clingy buddy, has to find out who shot Grian, and bring them to justice, all while juggling a practical baby, and his job. It makes you think. How one word changes everything. Say "person" and all you're doing is picking an individual out from a crowd. You aren't changing anything by saying "person". But say "my person" and it changes everything. Two letters. That's it. Now this once ordinary "person" belongs somewhere. This "person" has a story. This "person" is a character in another persons universe. My universe. Further, that "person" could very well become my entire universe. They've invaded my life, plagued my soul, and captured the center of it. It's only been a few months but soon I might be consumed. The word love didn't mean all that much until, of course, after Valentines Day. Isn't that just something. Love had been spoken for months and months before that. But little did I know it was corrupted by something lurking on the other side of our relationship. Now that same corruption, as I've put it, has brought forth a blooming surge of life, flooding my existence. Imagine being taken by a wave, your body anchored in the sediment, as your entire world becomes a new color. Four letters. If you take them and combine them from the two letters from earlier... and BAM! A whole new cascade of possibilities erupts into this world we've created. "My love" ~ Happy four years to me! *pops champagne* I wanted to do a one chapter catch-up post, but I decided to turn the biggest news into a fanfiction because according to my friends, our relationship is written like a bad fanfic. Looking back on it, Jimmy blames the garden for everything that's happened. After all, that's where he found the box, which led to Deepfrost, which led to this whole spiral of backsliding further and further away from the warmth of life. It had all started simply enough- with a dungeon, and with a goal- and had, over time, meandered into a world of beasts and bosses and dangers that Jimmy never had fully been able to grasp until it was too late, until he learned what Deepfrost REALLY was. But, that's a little too close to the end of the story. Let's rewind things back to the start, back to the beginning of the game known as Deepfrost. Let's talk about the first runs, the first deadly encounters, the first small victories. Or . . . perhaps you should be left to discover that on your own. After all, Deepfrost is a game that prides itself in its own immersive experience . . . in more ways than one. --- Deepfrost is an AU that is a crossover of the games Inscryption (by Daniel Mullins) and Decked Out 2 (by Tango Tek). You don't need to know anything about either of these to enjoy this story. If you don't want spoilers for the level design of Decked Out 2 or the layout of Act 2 and some of the overarching lore of Inscryption, I would consider not reading this fic, or at least leaving it for later :]

XisumaVoid, he's been the admin of Hermitcraft for quite some time now. He's had many people join (and a few leave) the server. The Watchers and Listeners, they're the beings that guide and help players and admins. Sure, the Watchers are cruel at times, but that's why they have the kinder Listeners. They're there to keep each other in check while keeping the worlds. Xisuma knows that they are good overall, though. But when he gets a strange dream where the Primals warn him of his Hermits, he thinks they must be crazy. Sure, Zedaph could be a bit freaky about his "experiments" sometimes, or Grian could get a bit too into a conflict at times. But from Xisuma's oldest to his newest members, they were all good spirits. And, the Primals warning Xisuma about his own BROTHER too? How can he trust them? And how can he believe some of the outrageous things he learns about his Hermits? But who can he trust? Whose side? (dissonance • noun • a tension or clash resulting from the combination of two disharmonious or unsuitable elements.)
