Well there are assigned roles which are Gamma, Sigma, and Phi (totally not a/b/o at all) and they will all be assigned into teams of three! But that's not it, there's also the last life mechanics of the random lives and boogeyman! This book will be in Scott's POV. There will be 6 other books that will have Shubble, Fwhip, Scar, Ren, False, and Grian's POVs. That way there's a POV for one person on every team. So yeah, a tad hectic. Honestly, it's explained better in the prologue lol.

Hermit City is a city of heroes and villains, and Grian is one of its most reliably factual and truthful reporters. So reliable, in fact, that the Heroes' Association values him and his reports enough that they assigned him a bodyguard: HotGuy himself! Grian and Scar have been doing this for years, now, and their relationship is more than just that of bodyguard and charge. It might even be more than just a friendship! Their time to explore and find out what they are to each other is cut short when Grian starts investigating the famous Pearl Moon case, and Scar isn't there to protect him.

Impulse and Skizz have been close friends for years, even going so far as to living together. They have always worked well together and know it.
