After inadvertently learning the truth about Zim's mission, a now fifteen-year-old Dib comes to a moral crossroads. Now, he must make an imperative decision to help Zim after an attempt on his life leaves the Irken in dire need of medical attention.

Membrane had a horrible expirament requiring a pizza cutter for the boys, but Gaz saved them. Without knowing, of course. Revenge ridden, Gazlene Membrane hates Zim and Dib beyond knowing. Yet, she saves their lives with just a press of a button. Without knowing, of course. In this Invader Zim fanfiction, Zim and Dib must learn what it's like to live as the other, learning more about the species of eachother than they ever even had. What happens, exactly? Zim can't move on. Even ten years after he was first assigned planet Earth, he still has yet to claim it for the Empire. He knows he can be a great Invader, if it weren't for all these distractions. It doesn't help that the Tallest have been ignoring his transmissions ever since the Florpus hole, and Zim is this close to turning mopey again. But a transmission from the Massive, a surprise exile, a civil war, and Zim's own pak may just change this unending loop of failure forever. And, oh, is Zim ready for change. Cover is temporary until I can create one. Updates will be very very slow until I can finish another book, I apologize for any wait. Invader Zim and all its characters belong to Nickelodeon. I have a problem, and it's called "By The Time I Finish An Idea I've Somehow Already Gotten 5000 More Syndrome". This the best solution I can think of for now.
