The true story is far stranger and more treacherous than most know of. This is the story of what the people call, the Mask Wearer. An OC/Self-Insert character driven novelization of Majora's Mask.

Far from the lands of Hyrule, our hero Link lives as an eighth grade boy in an orphanage full of his old companions. The problem is, they don't have any memory of their true lives. But, when a young girl stumbles into the hands of headmaster Deku, the master of the orphanage, a faraway memory begins to stir deep in his dreams. This is a fan fiction and role play type of story about you and some of the characters from the Legend of Zelda. Princess Zelda has invited you to a sleepover party at her castle. Zelda has also invited Blue Link, Red Link, Green Link, Violet Link, Navi, Midna, Shadow Link, Dark Link, and Vaati. You end up making a new friend and reversing a terrible curse. Also one part in here is aimed more for the female audience but you can either skip over that part are just use you imagination. The rest of it should go for either girl or boy though. It is not my purpose, at this time, to write a novelization of the events of the Hero of Time's era in regards to Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask as I desire to press on from familiar grounds to less familiar grounds as opened to the imagination of all. This text captures simply my take on the life of the Hero of Time and the events pertaining to his life and fate. I intend to capture the events of the return of the Hero to Hyrule after his maddening adventure in Termina, Ganondorf's invasion of Hyrule, and the fall of the hero in becoming the 'shade'. For conciseness of the tale, in text, I reference my other post, 'Chronicles of a Legend' for suggested reading. However, you may not want to read too much as it contains spoilers, but it's up to you. This novelization also covers the events of the Hero's Shade which ties with the events of the Legend of Zelda's 'Twilight Princess' In regards to the War of Twilight, the text shall cover only that which pertains to the Hero of Time.

A tale of redemption

Majora is a 16-year-old orphan when he gets lost in the lost woods. Normally, adults turn into monsters but the forest decides he was a child so he ends up a Skull Kid. He finds a way home after 30 long years to find the village he was from destroyed. Out of the rubble of his orphanage he makes a mask. it was wooden and heart-shaped, purple with 5 spikes along the sides He discovers Termina after falling down a tree. he befriends four giants but is later trapped in his mask by the people of Termina with the help of the four giants. Read his hardships and struggles at the strength of the enemy. Listen to the Tale he tells you and be happy at his triumphs. Feel his feelings. Become one with the mask. Edit: I forgot to mention, this takes place in a kind of modern Hyrule/ Termina AU.

This story is about a group of friends in hyrule that have to save it. A darkness befalls hyrule and so after the group meet they set out on a journey. Also Skull kid or Majora won't be evil this time. Link has also vanished, so who is left to save hyrule? When Ganon already has two triforce pieces? And Link no where around? The main characters of this story are: Skull kid, Zelda, Midna, Sidon and Daru the goron.
