I loved the whole Skyborn series, so I decided to try writing a sequel to it. All events in this fanfic take place after the end of the last book, Skyborn: Phoenix Rising. If you have not read the series, please do not read my story. Jessica Khoury's series is wonderful, and I don't want anyone getting spoilers. The books were meant for a middle school audience, or ages 13 and up, but some parts actually do get kind of dark, so if you're sensitive to that type of stuff, be warned. My fanmade sequel will be a bit darker. There are way too few Skyborn stories out there, and fellow fans are hard to come by. It makes me sad that people are missing out on such a great world. I just had to write my own story. And here it is! [It's been months after the Battle of Tirelas, and the Skyborn have been settling into their new homes in the floating sky islands. However, something is lurking just beneath the surface, lying in wait for its chance to turn their new world upside down. Nox has been having strange visions, and people are disappearing one by one.
