This is a bit of a rewrite adding more depth into it.

Meant to be part of a sequel for my full novel, but I liked it enough to want to share here! Sci-fi set in future where floating, sentient city states travel around the globe; the protagonist is sent to conduct a series or interviews with an elderly relative, gathering her perspective as someone who was present for the creation of Sky Cities.
