New York City, 1899, the newsboys of Lower Manhattan are preparing for a strike that could change New York forever. With the help of a determined reporter Katherine Plumber, the newsies will finally let the world know they've found their voice. But not without the help of Katherine's younger sister. Virginia Pulitzer is nothing like her sister. She's quiet, reserved, and always lingering in the background, most people mistake her silence for shyness. In reality, Virginia simply learned long ago that some voice are just not meant to be heard. Dragged along to meet the newsies by Katherine, Virginia plans to stay out of the way and count the minutes until she can leave. But those plans quickly fall apart when she's met face to face with the bright blue eyes of one Racetrack Higgins. Race is loud, reckless, and impossible to ignore. Yet something about the quiet girl pulls him in, making him want to know more about the girl hidden behind the careful smiles and guarded eyes. The closer they become, the harder it is for Race to keep his feelings hidden. When two worlds collide secrets begin to unravel, loyalties are tested, and Virginia must decide whether to keep hiding in the background - or finally let herself be heard.

Hey guys so I got to be in the standby line for 7 hours to be in the audience for the filming of the newsies movie and it was an awesome day that I wanted to share. This story could also be called The Day Joshua Burrage Kissed Me.

For someone, life as a newsie probably isn't the dream come true. The job is horribly paid, you work all day out in the sun and you have to deal with people not being so nice to you. Also, you have to put your mind to work when coming up with headlines because them newspaper folks can't come up with anything good half the time. Oh, and you have to share a run-down building with many boys. Simply said that life is not a paradise on Earth. But for Elizabeth Saunders that life was more than she could ever ask for. It was her best bet at a better life. Well, until some people decided to mess around with poor newsies and forced them to go on strike. How does Elizabeth cope with so many changes around her when she feels trapped in a web of iniquity? And how does she cope with her pestering feelings for one of the newsboys? Also what happens after the strike is over?

Elisabeth didn't have a good home life. Until she met him. Jeremy. After he adopted her, she got the chance of a lifetime: Starring in a Broadway National Tour.

This story is about my experience when I went to the LIVE show for Newsies and having to wait in the standby line for 6+hours! I hope you enjoy my experience as much as I did!
