She awakens to trees. The forest of writhing limbs reaching out to her. Knowledge is power. Knowledge is valuable. How far would you go to gain answers? Would you lie? Steal? Kill? Eira, a young Imperial with a mysterious past, is an aspiring mage who dreams of becoming a Restoration scholar. Like her other classmates, Onmund, Brelyna and J'zargo, she is eager to learn more about magic. Eira, however, has a dangerous thirst for answers. And just when the Dovahkiin thought he could relax and drink his nights away, he returns to the College of Winterhold with his companion, Marcurio, for his presence was needed. Points of view will alternate between Eira and Asger (the Dovahkiin). I do not own Skyrim and any of its characters (only my characters). Skyrim belongs to the wonderful Bethesda.

Jet Raven is a 21 year old imperial who has no memory of her parents. She was raised by a group of bandits and here she met the Old One. He taught Jet everything he knew of the Dark Brotherhood, Sithis and the Nightmother. He taught her the five tenets and told her that the Dark Brotherhood was her destiny. But when the Old One disappeared without a trace and the bandits was attacked by guards, Jet ran for her life. She killed for money while wandering from Cyrodil to Skyrim. Here she heard rumors of a boy trying to contact the Dark Brotherhood and decided to give him a little visit.

This story takes place in the faction of the Companions, a fighting guild defensive of Skyrim and it's people, but a little burned out from Rayond's antics. Rayond is sent on what he thinks is just another grave digging for the Thieves Guild. That was until he figured out the particular target is a member of one of his factions, the Companions. Up at the Skyforge he figures he can steal whatever he needs with everyone's back's turned.
