Desperate to find a way back home, he embarks on a journey, meeting familiar faces along the way. However, when an unforseen prophecy comes into play -one that never made an appearance in the books- Daniel finds himself on a perilous journey if he ever wishes to escape alive. All while he tries to keep his true identity a secret from his new friends. But when something starts to pull the strings on his mind and the world around him, it's clear something much more sinister is on the horizon. As such, he finds himself risking it all to save a world he's not even supposed to exist in. As well as having to choose. Whether living life as dragon... I accept any ideas and Constructive criticism (don't be too harsh please) so come along for the ride. NOTE: Things may seem off within 4h story such as: A confusing timeline, unexplained plot holes, out of character reactions, etc. All I can say is that they're in there on purpose for the most part and will be explained as you read through the story. "We need an animus ourselves," Northstar said. Wildfire looked suspiciously panicked before he added, "Turtle, are you up for the task?" "Of course," Turtle said resolutely. Suddenly looking nervous, he said, "Can we check the soul reader first?" "What soul reader?" asked Wildfire. Curiosity flickered through her amber eyes. "We borrowed it from Darkstalker," Turtle explained. "It's an hourglass-telescope device that shows an animus how much of their soul is left. Black sand is good, white sand is bad. So the more black sand there is, the better." "Where is it?" she asked. "I made a double of it with my bowl, and I keep it with me at all times," said Turtle. He unzipped a pouch at his neck and pulled out the soul reader. (A/N I know this probably didn't happen but play along with it ok?) Turtle pointed the telescope to himself. It started revolving wildly, the sands in the hourglass shifting and spilling around it. When it stilled, everyone let out a collective sigh of relief. Black sand dominated the white. "Well, that's that," said Turtle. He was about to put the hourglass back in his pouch when it started spinning again. "What the moons... that's never happened before," Turtle frowned. He let out a yelp as the telescope started twirling wildly. Revolving and twisting and turning until it finally settled, pointing itself at a dragon. Pointings itself at Wildfire.

It's clunky and reuses a bunch of names, so it's more of a "don't think too hard" all the hybrids that are possible-with many duplicates! When the war lasted 20 years, the Dragonets came. And when the war lasted 20 years, Queen Glory's reign over the RainWings began. With her reign, she gave the NightWing tribe a new home in exchange for one thing: their loyalty. Loyalty she asked, and loyalty she received. After an attempt at joining the rule of the legendary Darkstalker upon his return, almost all NightWings returned to the rainforest. While some remained on the talon peninsula, the rest of them enjoyed their time in the rainforest kingdom, and found Queen Glory a fair and just queen. Some moons passed, and over time it became more common to see hybrids of the two rainforest tribes, to the point that it had almost become an 8th tribe. The DawnWings, they began to be called. A tribe of dragonets, night and rain brought together, with abilities grand of both sides. In this new tribe, there lived a small dragonet named Starseer, who heard the whispers of the cosmos in her sleep, warning of an inevitable future since the moment of her hatching. A dream? She thought so, since she did not dream anything else. Yet... small nudges of the future, woven into instinct, cast doubt inside her mind. For if this were not a dream... The stars were destined to fall, as the earth hatched beneath her talons... Crushing everything she would come to care for...

It soon becomes too much for the young IceWing to handle and she runs away, realizing that by doing so, she is only making things worse for both herself and her tribe. Was it wrong of her to go looking for answers? Or should she have just left things alone and move on with her life?
