Peregrine has always had a normal life. She knew she was adopted, but her parents never told her who her real parents were and she never asked. Her adopted mother had been assassinated not long after her adopted father had died from a terrible sickness. They had been older in age, but they weren't too old to continue working. They had left her a caretaker in the RainWing Boa, and she had moved to Possibility. No longer was there a chance of knowing who her parents were, but it never bothered her. She missed her friend Nest, but she made a new best friend in the IceWing Frost. Barely one month after she had moved to Possibility, strange rumors started appearing from the SkyWing Kingdom. The queen was dead, and the land was in chaos, even the other tribes...

When the war lasted 20 years, the Dragonets came. And when the war lasted 20 years, Queen Glory's reign over the RainWings began. With her reign, she gave the NightWing tribe a new home in exchange for one thing: their loyalty. Loyalty she asked, and loyalty she received. After an attempt at joining the rule of the legendary Darkstalker upon his return, almost all NightWings returned to the rainforest. While some remained on the talon peninsula, the rest of them enjoyed their time in the rainforest kingdom, and found Queen Glory a fair and just queen. Some moons passed, and over time it became more common to see hybrids of the two rainforest tribes, to the point that it had almost become an 8th tribe. The DawnWings, they began to be called. A tribe of dragonets, night and rain brought together, with abilities grand of both sides. In this new tribe, there lived a small dragonet named Starseer, who heard the whispers of the cosmos in her sleep, warning of an inevitable future since the moment of her hatching. A dream? She thought so, since she did not dream anything else. Yet... small nudges of the future, woven into instinct, cast doubt inside her mind. For if this were not a dream... The stars were destined to fall, as the earth hatched beneath her talons... Crushing everything she would come to care for...

And War can cause lots of things, grief, grudges, and perhaps loneness. At least that's what Scorch feels like. He doesn't agree sharing a cave or area at all with other dragons. He'd prefer to stay behind in the SandWing orphanage and be left alone, but Queen Thorn insists on him going, and wouldn't take no for an answer, so he went. When he arrived, he realized that all the time he spent avoiding dragons and being alone, was another pain he couldn't bare. Protecting the dragons he now cares about, he sets his eyes on a suspicious dragon, one he hasn't seen before. Scorch and his friends now realize that this dragon could either bring Pyrrhia together, or cause it to fall...
