Camp Beaverbrook, a sleep away camp for children to escape to for the summer. To experience new things, go canoeing, archery, rock climbing, team exercises, form everlasting friendships, and to escape their everyday lives back in the town of Brook. Camp Beaverbrook is also the site of the disappearance of Michael Jones, a young and hopeful eighth grader who hoped to have the best summer of his life with his closest friends and instead ended up on the towns newspaper for months on end. Since then the Camp has been shutdown never to reopened until the purchase of the campgrounds that is.
Now it is the fifth year anniversary of his disappearance and also the summer of what would now be his senior year of high school. Old friends Gabriela Haynes, Kyle Linderman, Logan Wright, Jamie Anderson, Hannah Clarington, and Madison Riley all best friends with each other and Michael, attended the camp with him the year of his disappearance. The group has since split up and have gone their separate ways since the tragedy, some still in contact, some never even speaking to each other again. A broken group nonetheless. Torn apart by a tragedy they are all finally reunited as a group in where it all began five summers ago, Camp Beaverbrook. The group each receives an invitation to be counselors at Camp Beaverbrook by the buyer themself. When the group accepts the offer they accept it on terms of facing the past and to stop running from the constant fear that haunts them as a group everyday. They truly really have no idea what's in store for them this summer.
Secrets are revealed, blood is shed, and murder is inevitable. It's going to be a killer summer.
