You have all heard the story of sleeping beauty and how she was cursed to prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and fall into a deep sleep. What if her curse was modified differently. Briar had a simple life in a forest cottage but on her 18th birthday she found out that she is cursed princess Aurora of Frida. When her curse was activated she and her kingdom fell asleep but her spirit was still awake and roamed the dark forest that once was her kingdom.

ik, so cliche. Please know, this book will probably be a wildcard. I have no ideas from it and got basically all my inspiration from every other disney highschool book on here. I will try to put some spins on it, but this is honestly just for my entertainment through winter break. On another note, I will be taking suggestions! (for new characters, chapters, etc.) I will probably have multiple story-arcs that will be going on, so just know at the beginning of each chapter I will put which characters are included. Dawn is a hard-working veterinarian at the Pet Shelter in Storybrooke. James is an easy-going teacher at the School. An unlikely chance meeting at the Pet Shelter has these two becoming very close. All of their friends don't see them lasting long as they are complete opposites. But is their more to their story then what they even know themselves? After losing her love Phillip, Aurora meets an unlikely hero. Captain Hook. Hook seeing her crying and feeling sympathy towards her as he also lost his true love tries to help her through her love's death. They eventually fall in love and want to have a happy ending. But when Aurora is placed under the sleeping curse by Maleficent, Hook thinks he's lost her forever. (Note: I hope you realise that this will stray very much from the TV Show. I will try to follow it as much as possible but their will be changes. For one Hook and Aurora are effected by the curse, two, Phillip is already dead when Aurora falls under the curse, three, any romance between Hook/Emma and Phillip/Aurora will be transferred as much as possible between Hook/Aurora.)
