Sleep deprivation can negatively impact weight loss efforts. Lack of sleep disrupts hunger-regulating hormones, leading to increased appetite and cravings for unhealthy foods. It also hampers metabolism and energy levels, reducing the motivation to exercise. Adequate sleep is crucial for successful weight management and overall health.

When I go through traumatic experiences or intense emotional dilemmas, I would often see spiders in my bed at night in the form of hallucinations. This is a personal sign and justification from my subconscious to me that there is something I need to work through. It has taken me a few years to realize what these hallucinations mean and I am learning to welcome these spiders instead of fearfully dismissing them.

Clinomania: (n.) excessive desire to stay in bed. Odelia is the opposite of that meaning. She has insomnia. And it's been a pretty hard life with insomnia. Only one hour of sleep, she always looks like she's about to pass out, and she has huge eye bags under her eyes. Dalton is the opposite of Odelia. He dropped out of school because of his syndrome, the rare one called Sleeping Beauty Syndrome. This is a rare case where when someone sleeps, they never wake up in a couple of months. Because of this, his parents had to drop him out while he was still asleep on his third month. He went back to school after he woke up but no one barely remembers him. Except for Odelia. The Untold Story of Sleep Paralysis In the early morning hours, a young boy overhears a chilling conversation between his grandmother and his grandfather, whom he calls "Uncle." His grandfather recounts a terrifying experience from the previous night, claiming to have heard a giant bird crash onto the roof and flap its wings. The boy, intrigued and unsettled, struggles to dismiss it as merely a dream. As strange phenomena continue to occur in his home, the boy begins experiencing eerie events of his own. He often finds himself staring at the walls in the dark, plagued by vivid nightmares and the unsettling sensation of footsteps approaching his bed. To fend off these nightly terrors, he starts sleeping with the light on. One night, he awakens to find shadowy, human-like figures emerging from the darkest corners of his room, disappearing into the wardrobe. His heart races as he realizes he is paralyzed, unable to scream or move. The more he struggles, the more these sinister entities seem to feed on his fear. Among them, a particularly menacing figure looms, growing darker and more terrifying. The boy's silent screams and futile attempts to move are met with the relentless advance of this dark entity. Just as it seems all hope is lost, he somehow manages to break free, leaping from his bed to the floor. His brother, startled awake, quickly turns on the light, dispelling the shadows but leaving a lingering question-was it merely a vivid nightmare, or something far more sinister? Uninvited Encounter- is a true story that reflects the fear and nightmare of the author, Isaac Mahomed.
