Cal is your Hospital Clown....in other words he is your go-to guy when times are tough. Usually working as a volunteer in a hospital he is ready to help anyone through their times of sadness. He also plays ALO and been practicing a new skill he is willing to try on Zekken. He fights Zekken and notices that she has the stats of a Deep Dive user. With the message that he is ready to talk whenever she feels like she "is in the dump" Cal joins Yukki and Asuna's friendship to her end.

In her last moments of life in ALO she thought of how happy she was.

It was horrible, everything was in flames, everything was either destroyed or burned. The corpses of his father, his aunt and his uncle as well as those of his two cousins lied on the ground, lifeless. His lips shook as he wanted to ask for help, but from whom, there was no one else besides him in there. He looked up at the huge creatures that was staring down at him like if they were staring at their prey, maybe he was really their prey. He shook as he let the crystal sword fall down. " It's... Over..." He admitted it then. Although they tried desperately to fight those giant creatures that suddenly attacked them while holding on the smallest ray of hope, they couldn't defeat them. " It's over... Everyone is already dead... Everything is destroyed... We lost..." He kneeled down and accepted his fate. " If we just knew about this earlier..." And he was burned to ash by the flames of the huge lizards... ********** A dark and horrible future was await of them. Through the darkest moment of his dream, he heard a voice calling for help. He just knew he had to trust that voice, he had to. A new adventure starts as a new kingdom declares its existence. Is it a friend or a new foe? Will our friends manage to hold a grasp of a bright future and change their fate, or will they die in the most horrible way ever?...

The name 'Zekken' has spread across Alfheim, of a swordsman whose skill rivals even the most battled-hardened players. One challenger decides to test that claim personally, the result of which will change the lives of two people forever. Even within the virtual world, memories and feelings remain timeless.

Throughout Malzeno's time with the Sleeping Knights, between the bouts of drama, action, and everyday life, there are smaller memories sprinkled in-between. Small as they may be, their stories leave an impact regardless. (Side Story to Timeless)
