This is a story about my experience in a sleep paralysis. This story is based in a real life event.

When ignorant parents, horrified for their children, sent some of them to mental asylums or attempted to soothe fears of what they assumed were of the boogeyman, the children only shook their heads and repeated under their small breaths, 'vigilate peccatis vestris: nolite loqui verbum tuum in consanguineis ac prope oculis vestris, reddere pretium' " Short story. TW: in depth details of a disturbing state of when the mind is neither awake or asleep but frozen. Gore details and death.

A group of college students find themselves in almost grave situations to find their way out, situations that couldn't be defined by laws of nature - from a fun high school reunion to somewhere they cannot get out of. Will they find their way out? or will they dig their own graves? Following an unexpected plot twist. (Quite a similar concept to the backrooms & infamous the rolling giant.)

A force seeped from it making my anxiety spike, my heart hammer uncontrollably in its chamber and my skin crawl in terror. The most frightening part of this experience was that I could not scream. I could not utter a squeak from the recesses of my lips. It was as if the demon at the door had reached its claw into my throat and gripped my larynx so tightly that my vocal chords could no longer vibrate. A first draft of Noctis, a psychological horror with aspects of the depravity of humans. Follow along as the protagonist is brought into a twised and malicious world through his night terrors. Through his journey in this world he is hunted down by nightmarish entities, his memories of his past fade away, and he learns mind bending truths about who he is and how he unwittingly brought about the possibility of ending humanity as we know it.
