I wish that I could say that this story begins conventionally, with something exciting happening that launches you straight into the action, or that it begins with a ‘once upon a time’ that explains my entire life story in a paragraph. But sadly, I am not that exciting, and nor is the beginning of this story because real life doesn’t work like that. So unfortunately, as great as all this would be, my story begins with burnt toast.
