Breyer Archer, Daughter and only child of Mathilda Archer (The Crone of the Western Woods) has been suspected of murder. The Maiden's of Sleepy Hollow are being beheaded one by one by the malicious ghost of the Hessian Horseman. Ichabod Crane, A newcomer from New York, has been called upon to solve this bloody case. But all is not as it seems when Breyer is arrested and placed in his custody. She becomes an asset to him in solving the case, and when friend turns foe, he will have a decision to make. He will learn all too quickly that beauty is only skin deep. Before You Read: This is an AU of Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow, not a sequel. The Crone, Mathilda has been aged up during the time of the Hessian's death (instead of a little girl, She was 19 when he died) The Hessian's Death has been moved up the timeline as well, taking place 20 years prior to the events of the murders. Sleepy Hollow is a strange town, but that is to be expected. The only reason the town exists is because of a ghost story. Of course, everyone knows the legend of the Headless Horseman. Or, at least they thought they did. As it is with all fiction, there is always a little bit of truth in those stories. There was an Ichabod Crane, an Abraham Van Brunt, and of course, a Katrina Van Tassel. There was also a devious prank, but other than that, it was all made up. Too bad not everyone understood, that just because some of it was true, not all of it was. Tessa Crane, a descendant of the same Ichabod Crane that made her hometown famous, thought she knew the story, the real story anyway. It was her history after all. However, everything changes one fateful Halloween night. Tessa and Abraham "Ander" Van Brunt the Seventh, Tessa's rival and least favorite person, have no choice but to work together when they become targets of the Headless Horseman himself. It's a race against time to discover the truth of what happened between their families all those years ago. Will they defeat the Headless Horseman in time or will they both lose their heads?

Follow Ichabod And Abbie as they battle demons and a soul bond that means so much more. Disclaimer this story is completely mine.

Okay as this story has a little twist to it. I just felt like there wasn't any Sleepy Hollow books and I am like in love with Johnny Depp so I hope you guys enjoy whoever reads this. I was always the shadow, the one in the background, the girl who nobody knew about and if they did, they didn't want. Always compared to my sister and always pushed around. I began to think there was no hope for me. That I would die alone and forgotten to every one. That was until he showed up in town.
