Samantha (Sam for short) Pullino is not your average teen. She is an emo/scene girl who nobody gets. She has a huge crush on one of the popular guys at school (whom she is already friends with and has been friends with since kindergarten) and he seems to be the only one to get her sense of style and emotions. At the same time her godparents are going through a tough time and she is not in the mood to hear it. While all this is happening, she has to keep a secret. The most dangerouse secret of all and if she exposes herself in front of everybody, all of the vampire world will come after her and execute her!
