When Jeff the Killer is charged with finding the most pure of heart at the local high school to complete a ritual, he doesn't know that he'll end up falling for her. Will he do what he must to attain ultimate power, or will he find another way?

Kora is a young woman struggling with navigating adult hood and living life with a disability on top of being able to hear and see the dead. After losing their home due to medical debt Kora and her mother move into her grandparent's summer home in the woods. After living there for some time Kora starts to hear whispering coming from the woods. Soon the whispers get louder and she needs to do something about it; this chain of events lead to her discover all sorts of anomalies and uncovering dark secrets that lie beyond the trees. 'What is Beyond the Whispering Woods' tells this tale through the pages of Kora's journal. Some of the already existing creepy pastas will be introduced slowly into the story as well as creatures loosely based on already existing mythological creatures slightly changed to become something new.

I don't remember much. Actually, that's a lie. I don't remember anything. Slendy says that's okay. He gave me a place to stay, a purpose, and a bunch of stupid missions that involve putting pieces of paper in the woods. It's not really exciting, but it's better than having nothing. So I started keeping this journal. I figure it'll help me remember things. Who I am. What I do. What happens every day. Nothing interesting, probably.

So when Ben begins glitching out of reality, Jeff is forced to face the truth that kills him inside: Ben was never meant to stay. How far will Jeff go to keep the boy he loves from disappearing?

They had been stuck under Slender's orders for 5 years, 5 years too long in Hoody's opinion. Hoody wasn't exactly satisfied with the situation either, especially due to the side effects that he was being forced to face; nausea, dizziness, migraines and the big one, being revived from the dead. He was contempt with being dead; he'd spent years learning to accept death as he delved more and more into that whole 'Marble Hornets' fiasco. But never did he expect to come back. He had woken up randomly one day in the forest, getting that familiar headache that lingered with the Operator but instead he was faced with Slenderman. Both were as horrible as each other in Hoody's perspective, both caused him to go insane and lose his sense of control; the only reason he gathered the courage to stay this time was the addition of his colleague.
