The world ended long ago, riddled with plague and zombies and destruction. But humanity survived, and humanity evolved. The Infection that helped bring the world to its knees also changed humans in ways to help them keep living in this now broken world ready to be rebuilt. Seven lineages with three strains each, and each have their own unique set of traits that help us survive. But that's not what this story is about-at least, not really. This story isn't about how a hero will rise and bring the world back to what it was Pre-Fall. This story is about me, an ordinary Remanat living life through the world day to day as a mercenary. A beginner mercenary as everyone likes to remind me. The others in my group have been calling me 'Rookie' since I joined them three months ago. I'm beginning to wonder if they actually know my name. We have been hired to help the New Reach Caravan travel across the wastelands to Philly Del Phia, and this is the perfect opportunity to show them that I'm not just a dumb Rookie. I'm actually quite good at my job. I just happen to get distracted by one certain Eight-Ball, but it's not my fault he's good-looking, and charming, and funny... Anyway, all I have to do is help my group get the caravan to Del Phia. Should be an easy enough job. Just avoid the zoms and keep clear of the Raiders, and we should be fine... Right? this story is about a character(that do not have a name) being lock into a device that make them experience a event in spaces that feel real?

Welcome to the official collection of a new WIP open project and concept. (Sort of like SCP) It's the type of thing that's open for people to input there own characters into this boarding school of characters based around having unique physical attributes, designs,or abnormalities that, for this world, are perfectly normal to have. Either that, or a unique ability about them. Not a superhero ability or an over the top magic, more of a simple yet creative effect they can have themselves or have on people. You'll get the concept more if you look into the book. Anyways, the whole point is to expirment with weird but creative designs and input them onto a character into a world where we drop 'em all in a single school, and just have a fun time creating it and exploring different ideas and character realtionships and interactions.

"I'm just here to get the Avatar." Ryuunosuke's voice is terse and clipped. Behind him, the being stops moving. The silence is only broken by its raspy breathing before it starts to chuckle again. "My, my. What an interesting turn of events for me. First a visit from the Avatar and then a child touched by the spirits coming to retrieve him? If I had known that I had guests." It trails off as it shifts again. His keen ears listen as it stretches upwards and crawls across the ceiling. "I would have properly put in the effort to greet my respective guests."

"Watch this everybody," Jimmy said as he held the apple in both of his hands with his thumbs over the top of it. He then pressed down on the apple and in one fluid motion, Jimmy split it in half with a satisfying snap. "Woah," Katherine and Gem said simultaneously. "What else can you do with those hands Jimmy?" Scott asked with a hint of mischief in his voice. Jimmy's face turned a bright red and he let out a slew of no's while Scott giggled. "Instead of flustering Jimmy for the umpteenth time, why don't you show us your party trick Smajor?" Pix suggested, to which Jimmy shot the archaeologist a grateful look. Cover art isn't mine. Hello! While this wont be a fully written rewrite of the original V&H, it will be me(and others) sharing what I've managed to develop into the rewrite!
