Avery realizes Derek is just as lonely as he is and Derek doesn't want to die alone. Avery makes his way to allow the man a warm embrace as he wishes they had met under different circumstances. AKA: Right person wrong time type shi

Avery had known Derek since they were kids. That didn't mean that he knew how to word this. He's known he loved Derek as more than a friend since they were little twerps without any such worries they now do going through college. He's loved Derek since long before he had a word for it. So he also knows that most ways he could try to verbally express this will end in Derek assuming that it's too good to be true and that he's doing everything out of pity. So instead of saying it outright, the solution has to be taking him on a few dates, Derek isn't that clueless, right? (Aka I wanted a 5+1, but I can't go shorter than 8 chapters XD)

Avery wakes up outside of a mine he didn't create, with no memory of why he was there, and finds someone he's supposed to know, but doesn't fully remember. Derek survives, and loses some of his knowledge, but not without harm. Together they heal, piece together memories, and life of companionship. (TLDR: Avery has amnesia, Derek is in a coma for a little bit)

When AveryTheMayo uploaded his video to the gracious platform of YouTube, he expected there to be some sort of answer as to what the last bit of assumable code was at the end of the book full of 'Don't Turn Left' mumbo jumbo. Being the small platform that he is, he knew it would likely take a while. However, he's a Skywars player. If there's anything that he's NOT going to do, it's sit around and wait weeks on end for answers he may not even get. No, he has a better idea. He gets ahold of a friend and decides to go cave diving with them to see what this crazy book is on about personally.
