At first, Eric has no intention of doing his job properly and simply wants another reason to give William more over time. However, when he begins to notice more about Alan, he'll do everything and anything to make sure William doesn't send him away to a new department for his training. Just an Alan X Eric fanfiction. It will be mostly from Alan's perspective (with the exception of Chapter 1). I'll update as and when I can.

How they met? This is only the begining of their friendship. (This is a modern day fanfiction mostly starring Alan Humphries and Eric Slingby. Ever wondered how they met went they were humans? Set during Kuroshitsuji Musical II: The most beautiful DEATH in the world. Alan finds out that Eric is responsible for the mass murders. When Eric is fighting Sebastian, Alan has another attack on the sidelines. Will Alan be able to deal with it alone, without Eric there by his side? AN: This was actually in the musical. If you look closely, during the fighting scene between Eric and Sebastian, Alan has another attack before running after Eric. Poor baby :( This is an extended version of that scene.

Eric Slingby left Scotland to make a name for himself. He didn't expect to end up working at a company that's an odd mix of crime investigation and the consequent handling of deceased victims. He really didn't expect to befriend a flamboyant redhead with a flair for the dramatics and murder, a smart ass intern who flirts with everything that moves, an uptight manager, said manager's German doppelgänger, a clumsy photographer, an antisocial pathologist and the creepy company owner. He really really didn't expect to be plunked in the middle of a gruesome murder mystery with said friends. And he really really really didn't expect to fall in love with Alan Humphries, the kind, brutally intelligent young man in the office next to his, who may have less time left than anyone thinks. Navigating life is hard, but now Eric has to handle a new country, a new job, new friends, a deadly mystery and his own sexuality. Good thing his life doesn't depend on it. Hopefully...

Eric has worked very hard over his years of being a reaper. He has had many ups and downs, such as his much loved Alan passing away. He toughed it all out, no matter how much it hurt. The thought of him meeting Alan in the afterlife being the only thing keeping him going. And today is the day he is released from his work as a shinigami. He finally gets to move on. He is finally allowed his death. -this is a one shot so I don't believe I will update it past the first chapter-

Eric Slingby hasn't worked on anything criminal since he left the police force to become a private investigator. That is, until he gets a phone call in the middle of the night reporting a murder. Alan Humphries, an aspiring crime journalist, has been assigned to report this case with the chance of having a permanent spot on the page, and god help the soul who stands in his way. Eric takes him under his wing, allowing him to witness the investigation firsthand, but they're about to get themselves tangled in a story that is stranger than fiction.

It's just a book of odds and ends of my writing. Sometimes oneshots, sometimes character information, and maybe writing tags. A lot of content will revolve around the canon universe, but some will be pointless extensions of the story I'm working on now, and some may be made just for the purpose of this book. Some of these (I'm a liar, not 'some') are going to be pointless with no plot or storyline.
