Welcome to Holmes Academy, the school for young detectives who wish to learn the art of detail and discrepancy. First founded by Dr. John Watson, students have been coming to learn everything there is to know about the detective work, from picking up clues to deadly weapons. After her parents are killed in a plane crash, Angie Hilversum is adopted by her less then likeable aunt who happens to run Holmes Academy. Angie starts to attend classes with the rest of the student body, many of them picking on her for her odd ways, such as her being an avid collector of snow globes and wearing galoshes when it's not raining. Odd though Angie may seem, it becomes apparent that she is a natural at the detective work and when a boy is found dead in his dorm, summed up as a suicide, Angie is the first to say, this was no suicide, but murder at Holmes Academy.

Along the way, each experience, both big and small, strengthens her faith and resilience. Come with Sam as she tackles the world in this hilarious Christian mystery series. About the Series: This story is a comedy based in our modern times with echos from the past, and is meant to make you laugh, have fun, and give you Christian messages that I hope will inspire all of us to draw nearer to Jesus and to build our characters. Not all of the short stories will have a mystery, and not all will have deep Christian themes, but all will center around Samantha and her crazy world. Full-length novels have been planned (if the Lord wills) so stay tuned!

New York police detective, Shawn Davis, gets a call from his police chief when his expertise is needed in the death of Bronxville millionaire and philanthropist, Mr. Wilson. What once appeared to be a suicide case is soon proven to be murder and Shawn is saddled with the task of finding who the murderer is, someone he is sure is within the household of Mr. Wilson. A dysfunctional household with everyone trying to hide something, and the news tasty media impatiently waiting to know who murdered the beloved Mr. Wilson pushes detective Shawn beyond his limits. The pressure clock is ticking fast but yet, every lead Shawn chases after ends up at a dead end, until he realizes the one question he never asked his own self.
