Pokémon Outlaw: The Rise of Elijah Stark In the slums of Pallet Town, where the forgotten and unwanted reside, Elijah Stark, a 15-year-old orphan, struggles to survive. For seven years, he has lived among the outcasts, seen by society as nothing more than a street thug, an outcast unworthy of a future. While kids like Ash Ketchum and Gary Oak excitedly embark on their Pokémon journeys at the age of 10, Elijah knows that the world offers him no such privilege. But fate has other plans. On the day the new trainers leave town, Elijah tries to slip away from the slums, only to be stopped by another outcast who tells him that leaving Pallet Town isn't so easy-if he wants to have a real chance, he needs to visit Professor Oak. Skeptical but curious, Elijah takes the advice and walks into the professor's lab, where he is immediately recognized as "one of the slum kids." Oak questions his presence, but before anything else can happen, a thief attacks the lab, aiming to steal Pokémon! With no one else around to help, Oak has no choice but to turn to Elijah. He tells him to pick a Pokémon from his emergency stash-Vulpix, Sandshrew, or Pikachu. Thinking fast, Elijah chooses Pikachu, realizing its Electric-type attacks will be effective against the thief's Tentacool and Tentacruel. For the first time in his life, Elijah fights-not just for survival, but for something bigger. And he wins. Impressed by Elijah's instincts and courage, Professor Oak offers him a chance at something more-a real trainer's license and a role as an assistant-in-training under his guidance. No longer just a nameless slum kid, Elijah Stark begins his journey not just as a Pokémon trainer, but as someone determined to defy society's expectations and carve his own path in the world of Pokémon. This is not a typical hero's story. This is the rise of Elijah Stark, the Outlaw Trainer.

They escaped hell. What they found was America's forgotten edge. A family from North Korea arrives in the United States with nothing but each other-and the weight of being unwanted. In the heart of a decaying American slum, they open a small laundrette. Not a dream, not a promise. Just a place to survive. Kim's Laundrette becomes more than a business. It is shelter. It is currency. It is the last line between dignity and disappearance. The neighborhood is filled with people the world has already judged-gang members, hustlers, outcasts, so-called villains. Society calls them criminals. Monsters. Lost causes. But inside the humming walls of the laundrette, another truth surfaces: every one of them is protecting something. A family. A memory. A rule. A line they refuse to cross. As money, silence, and violence circulate as steadily as the washing machines, the family is pulled into a web of unspoken deals and dangerous loyalties. Each choice pushes them closer to a question no one can escape: How much of yourself must you sacrifice to belong? And if the world never meant to protect you, what are you willing to protect instead? Kim's Laundrette is not a story about heroes. It is about the people history labels as villains-and the fragile, human reasons they refuse to disappear.

This poem imagines meeting Jesus and explores the real, possible reaction one might have. It wonders if tears of joy would cascade down the face or if one would stand frozen in disbelief. The encounter with Jesus is portrayed as having a profound impact, and the poem suggests that meeting him would elicit overwhelming emotions.
