In Hogwarts Valentine's Day draws near and teachers are getting bored and restless. This results in an entertaining project being brewed by Dumbledore himself. The students Amortentia potions have been infused with an elixir that brings forth the exact scent of the exact person they've been matched with by the spell. The students role is to find this person before sweetheart's ball where they will mix the potions and turn them in as a pair to complete the assignment. Arianna Judithshire believes the spell would choose her boyfriend of two years. But does it?

Jane Sterling was a 17 year old orphan that has just entered her 6th year at Hogwarts, her, a black-haired Slytherin was a well known figure within her peers as she's been dating Theodore Nott for about a year. Theodore is more of a god of men within the quidditch team and was always praised, loved, and gushed over. Leaving Jane in the background with her other friends. (Blaise Zabini, Draco Malfoy, Mattheo Riddle, Pansy Parkson, Lorenzo Berkshire, and other side characters in other houses) Bad habits have gotten the best of a lot of the friend group these last few years at Hogwarts, drinking, smoking, etc. and Jane can admit that she has given into these sorts of habits also, but she surely doesn't indulge in them regularly. The rest of the friend group.... That's a different story. Jane has notice that Theodore has started to only care, talk, think about quidditch. And it's getting to her head, she doesn't feel like he really cares about this relationship anymore. Contains swearing, smoking, drinking, self harm, and over all sensitive topics!!!
