Alrighty. Here I am, thinking to myself, 'how fun would it be to finally share the story you've been thinking about for months on end?' (Oh, and if you were wondering, the title is subject to change.) And so, this came into existence. You are reading the script for a future manga I plan on making- years in the future. This is merely a small glimpse, for me, as to what it feels like being and author. Thank you so much, to those of you that have helped along the way. I never would have shared this story without you. All the characters and lore were made by me. Fresh air. Something Yuriko had always missed, its scent welcoming her into a new world of freedom. Nothing could go wrong in such a beautiful paradise; with flowers and trees she'd only ever read about. What stunning expanse of unknown, with no one to hurt her, no one to take her in for Testing. She shuddered. No, don't think about it. Don't think about needles and blood, and experiments. Don't think about the little boy who had died. Don't even touch on the subject of two twins merged into one. Yuriko looked back at the small lump that was the orphanage. A black haze of evil seemed to surround the whole thing, even the gardens and courtyards seemed more dead, more desperate now that she had seen part of the actual world. She remembered the evil smell that would fill her nose after Testing Day, how some children would disappear right after. How the Snake would get her if she ever tried to escape. She jolted upright, and watched in horror as the black haze surrounding the orphanage started to spiral upwards. It thinned and thickened, meandering around the sky, until a sudden sharpness came about the smog. The Snake.

It seemed like nothing in the world would allow me to share your story, to finally fulfill that desire of reaching out to other people and make them happy with my creations. All these ideas, all the love poured into it, and yet, I was stuck there at a mere 70 views and 4 stars. I know how it feels, and I swear even just a star can make the difference between continuing, and quitting. And besides, stars and views help with the algorithm... What personally drives me forward, is the support from my readers, their comments, their engagement, their love for my story, my world, my characters.
