When you were young and your mother told you stories to put you to sleep, you never thought anything of it, right? They were just fairy tales. Cinderella never really had a pumpkin carriage, and there was never a person who slept for a thousand years. Fairytales were just a way to imagine a stereotypical world where all girls were damsels in distress and guys were all prince charmings who saved princesses. When I was young, my mother told me stories, but I thought nothing of it. Magic was fake, fairy tales were a lie, and happy endings weren't something thrown at your feet. Only that last statement was true.
On my fifteenth birthday, I found a number tattooed on the inside of my wrist.
Nothing else, just a number
I know it must sound crazy and must be a story that proves I'm slightly insane, but it just appeared just like magic.
I thought nothing of that number. I tried to convince myself that it was just a figment of my imagination. I kept telling myself that it was nothing. I'm nothing special, I'm just your average person who is not unique in any way. I'm just a normal girl, living in a small town. I have siblings who can be annoying, aggravating, and overprotective. I have two best friends and I also have an enemy. I have boring brown hair and I have boring brown eyes. That number sat on my wrist for a while and I almost forgot about it. Until one day, it changed. And after that day, I was soon thrown into an adventure that I would never have dreamed about.
My name is Alia Smith and this is the story about how three people saved the world in 153 Days.
Step one: Figure out what the heck this number means
Step two: Find the Pieces
Step three: Save the world
Simple, right?
