The following short pieces are a prelude to a major project I am working on called Dark Pan. These shorts will act as a prelude to my major project - setting up the world for the series I am writing. Please feel free to leave feedback and criticism. Looking forward to seeing what my readers think. Dark Pan is a twist on the original Peter Pan. Tinkerbell is not the sweet fun loving, fall-in-love with Peter fairy we all remember and love, she is corrupted by a Dark Stranger. Peter Pan, a boy kidnapped from his home, corrupted by Tink, kidnaps other boys so that their youth can feed the darkness of the Lands of Never. There is even a twist on James Hook, Smee, and the rest of the pirates. If I have intrigued you, please read on while I compile the shorts that make up the prelude to Dark Pan and while I hope to launch Dark Pan as either a web series or television series with the first season well underway to being written, perhaps I will share it with the WattPad word if the prelude gains enough interest. The Queen orders her guards to look for this thief and bring her back to the palace once they capture her. When the guards fight Jayden the bean falls out of the bag and opens a portal causing Jayden to fall in. What happens when Jayden is now face to face with a green-eyed boy who calls himself Peter Pan.

So I'm guessing you've heard the story of Peter Pan? A young girl is told she has to grow up and Peter Pan takes her and her two brothers to Neverland. Thought so. Oh, right. Where are my manners? Hello, I'm Captain James Hook and I am not the villain in the story.

Every night, the lost boys gather in Hollowman's tree to hear another tale from Peter. While many involve blood racing encounters with Captain Hook others remain within the lines of adventure, friendship and romance. Grab a seat, its story time.

"I want to be free, so let me be free..." This is my version of the origin of Peter Pan, so please enjoy. Hamelin (or Peter for you guys) has lived his entire life as a pirate captain's son. He wants to escape the typical pirates life of pillaging and lies. Sailing to Neverland, he befriends a certain fairy that can show him the way to freedom. Having to choose between keeping up with his fathers expectation and his will to be free, Hamelin is torn. Will he ever be truly free? All character personalities, designs, and story are mine. Of course there are a whole butt-load of references, but shut up and enjoy the story.
