Percy's life change when he was four as his mother Sally was murdered by his Step-Father Gabe and is abused for a few months until a neighbor called the police and Percy was sent to a children's home until Poseidon found out he had a son. In the beginning of The Lightning Thief, Percy mentions a time in third grade when he was stalked by a cyclops. To my knowledge/memory, it was never discussed further, so I'm writing a little short story fanfic about it! This would be my first ever completed fanfic, so hopefully it'll be good! I've been contemplating writing it for a little while now.
