Hal asked Shroomy to help in a case that involves a demon hunter, not knowing that the culprit is someone he knows or well. The same person who is helping him. Note from AO3 (10/11/2024) One day you're just in a discord server with one of your favorite artists, and they make a poll which would decide which character they would use for a video with Hal. Next thing you know, it's the same person making a whole idea for Hal and Shroomy dynamic along with others and got me very interested because I start loving the ship and the whole concept that she dropped. Anyway, original idea from Omimus_Potato but I added some stuff, hope everyone like it! Can't punctually name it now, but some elements for the fic were inspired by some headcanons from specific people from Tumblr who are completely normal about Shroomy and Hal, so if some of them said "woah this sound very familiar" it because of that hehehe.
