Note: Most of these characters are intended to be 18+ in this alternate universe taking place in this story. A year has passed since the events of the first Dueling Critters has taken place, and when you think those of the critter crew like CatNap, DogDay or CraftyCorn would be at peace, another new threat starts to unfold, but this time, high up in Dreamhill Valley, a floating society of critters where dreams do come true, and it's up on the clouds where the rainbows and stars meet. And that city needs a new critter to be the hero CatNap, DogDay and CraftyCorn were, so that the dreams can still thrive. Smiling Critters is part of Poppy Playtime and is owned by Mob Studios. Yu-Gi-Oh! is owned by Kazuki Takahashi and Konami. Dream Critters is an AU made by sol12nicol.

An unknown amount of time passed since the last critter (CatNap) was killed...the Smiling Critters seemed to be gone for good. However, as the clock strikes midnight on August 8th, all the critters get brought back to life by an unknown entity. They're forced to live in an old manor together with 8 new faces, while also dealing with their own struggles.

In a world called Seasonhaven, there were 4 lands called Wanderlust, Bloomsvale, Sunnyshores, and Maplewood. They were all different, but what kept them together was joy, kindness, and hope. It was one of the main things that kept everyone protected and made their chests glow with light. One day, an evil, mysterious entity who was known as the Prototype arrived here along with his miscreants to attack and take everyone's light. Suddenly 4 critters called The Guardians of the Seasons used their magical artifacts and happiness to defeat them. They created a magical barrier to protect everyone. But the 4 guardians knew that the Prototype and his miscreants aren't gone for eternity. So for many generations, each guardian would choose the rightful critter to be the next guardian and pass their part to them. A lot of years have passed and now on to the next. Puppy PeaceCoy and her friends are now the new guardians. What adventures would they face? What's the story behind their roles? Find out in this story! [Yandere!Vampire!Smiling Critters x Male!Reader] During a school field trip to a dark and spooky castle, it once belonged to the infamous Count Proto-Plasm until he was killed by a group of Vampire Hunters before the curse was passed onto one of the hunters named CatNap Von Helsing that turned him into a vampire. He soon bitten the rest of his friends, turning them all into the Vampire Critters and they all ruled over the castle, leaving Count Proto-Plasm a distant memory. Legend has it that anyone who bears the mark of the Vampire Critters will be hunted down by the bloodthirsty creatures to be bitten and become a new member of the group. That's where Y/n comes in, a young average 19-year-old man accidentally awakens the Vampire Critters from their eternal slumber after bearing the mark from a fountain that pierced his own flesh on the back of his hand, bleeding away that awoken the Vampire Critters from their eternal slumber with a thirst for Y/n's blood to quench their Never-Ending Bloodlust. Now he has become a target to the Vampire Critters and they can smell the blood from miles away to turn Y/n into a Vampire Critter and a permanent member of their family forever.
