Essentially, this is a bunch of one-shots that show happenings between Fontaine and Finn that we don't see. All of the stories are based upon real, existent episodes of the cartoon 'The Deep'. the sea is filled with many mysteries. Many tales of beast and magical creatures told by sea bound folks. stories of mer-folk, their songs, and their dangerous beauty, but of course those are only tall tales...right? (This will kind of be a siren/mermaid nekton au based story. also, I do NOT own the deep or any of the characters! I'm just a fan of the show.)

After a mission to study wildlife one day Fontaine starts to notice her family acting strange. When their strange behaviour turns hostile she flees in the mimic night with little supplies. Sending out a distress signal she gets a response from the only ship in the area. The Dark Orca... The Dark Orca's crew takes Fontaine in and throws her in a locked room as a hostage. Will she escape the Dark Orca? Can she save her family? Does she do it alone? (This story takes place after season 3 so there will be some spoilers. If you haven't watched season 3 yet don't read this.)

What happens when Mad Madeline and Ant end up stuck together? Will they put aside their differences and find something to pass the time? Or will they argue until one of them might not make it out alive? DISCLAIMER: I don't own the Deep! :D

At their kids' swim meet, for some reason, Will and Hammerhead have taken to being their kids' number one fans, always trying to outdo the other and cheer the loudest. Kaiko and the kids just take it all in, not knowing whether to laugh, cringe, or facepalm.

Just because Madeline and Fontaine like to bully their brothers doesn't mean anyone else has the right to hurt them.

When the Nektons discover the Dark Orca completely still and silent with the pirates on board not returning any of their calls, they're convinced this must be similar to the last time they find the pirate submarine in this state but does the reality of what's actually going on turn out to be even weirder than ghost eels? What do Fontaine and Finn's families think of their musical 'talent? Just a pretty short one-shot based on a scene from 'Field of Giants' featuring Ant insulting Fontaine and Finn's family trying to keep him happy, even if they have to make sacrifices. Please review! :) DISCLAIMER: I don't own the Deep! All rights remain with the rightful owners. :D

Ant usually doesn't see eye to eye with the pesky pirate who is infatuated with Fontaine. However, when it comes to both of their sisters, Finn and Ant are more alike than the young Nekton would like to admit. Sure, their sisters are annoying and bratty sometimes; but when it comes down to it, neither brothers will ever let anything harm them.

(AU starting on S1E7; mostly drabble-sized chapters) Finn makes his choice, but somehow gets kicked off of the Aronnax and the Dark Orca. Joining the Nektons is still his hope, but first he has to convince them that he's a good guy. Luckily, he's got Fontaine on his side. Ghostly shenanigans, lost languages, ninja teenagers, near-death experiences, and pirate curses abound as everyone's favorite (former) pirate tries to find his place among the good guys.

Finn has never hidden his feelings about Fontaine, and she has always hidden hers, so what will happen when they see each other more often? Or when the WOA plots against the Dark Orca?

Just a crazy story I thought

Consider this a oneshot and continuation to certain parts of the original story from moments I really enjoyed. My love for these two recently resurged so enjoy!! I hope there are other fans of the Deep still searching for context and I would heavily appreciate any feedback :)

Fontaine wakes up one morning with a bruised face that her soulmate's gotten and so therefore, so has she, and now she's got to go and recover stolen relics from the Dark Orca pirates. Whoever her soulmate was, they were definitely clumsy. Some might say they were downright inept! Soulmate AU, never written one before but I gave it my best shot. Fontaine is getting utterly fed up with her brother - he's just so annoying! Luckily, she has a certain pirate boy looking out for her and he's willing to offer a helping hand with getting revenge on Ant. DISCLAIMER: I don't own the Deep! :D

This takes place in an AU created by @the_deep_nerd It consists of an AU where Alpheus, Finn, and Maddy get adopted by Commander Pyrosome and I was thinking...what if the Nekton children got adopted too?

Fontaine Nekton was taught from a young age to love and protect the ocean. She was a teenager who played the guitar, and her closest friends were dispersed all over the world. But her crush was both close and far, after all, his submarine was often close to hers, but she will never admit liking the pirate Smiling Finn. Right? (all I want if for her to have friends and for Finn, my cinnamon roll, to be happy with his cool crush) (pssst... The story is finished and has one prologue and nine chapters... Thank you!)
