Across the Great tower, past the clusters of adobe homes, through the arching gates stands the Gardens. Praying to her are the people of the ancient world. There is a pause and like dusk turns to dawn she sits idle upon her thrown and her people pray no more, her people are not to be found, her and her Garden are erased.
There was a place known as Babylon and once in this old kingdom was a Garden and some say that on a Throne in that Garden sat a Queen... a witch as some called her, she was desired by all men cherished by all women and feared by all enemies. When on the battlefield to whisper "Semiramis" was to whisper death itself, as swords clashed and men roared, calm would water rise to the knees of all and quickly would the fog roll in. The men would quite down and there would be a sound of cool tides splashing, soon accompanied by slithering and as the men cowered hissing could clearly be heard as the fog rolled away as quickly as it came and the ocean receded from the desert plains, the forces of Babylon would rejoice in victory.
