Through an act of desperation to keep Severus's life, an idea is brought, shame and embarrassment is brought the both of them.

With the echoes of quickly-approaching doom, Severus Snape overworks himself with his own occupation, trading in sleep for suffering as he spends his nights making pointless potions in attempt to distract himself from memories of his past, his future, and Remus Lupin. - **Based on Steven Wilson's "The Watchmaker," which I recommend listening to before reading. All incorporated lyrics are from the aforementioned song. Really - take twelve minutes of your time and give it a go.

After the faithful murder in one Halloween night, the feared Lord Voldemort was 'defeated' and left Hadrian James Potter an orphan. However, blessed by Mother Magic to bear her mark, Hadrian gave Voldemort's soul a permission to stay in his mind making him the first human hocrux ever. Petunia Evans, sister of the late Lily Potter nee Evans, a powerful political figure in the American Wizarding world has to step in and whisk Harry away from Dumbledore's manipulative clutches. Follow the adventure and struggle that Harry will have to face in the Lantern of Shadow series. --- This will have a lot of crack pairings in it, including (Sirius & Petunia) (Snape & Remus). Please refrain from commenting on my decision in these pairing as I always believe that pairings are great and needed a chance to explore deeper.

So... I absolutely love Severitus, but I want Snape to get a proper call out and redemption arc, because it's absolutely appalling how Snape treated Harry, and I cannot understand how Rowling made the decision to have Harry name his child after him. Dumbledore is an entirely different story entirely. I will not be 'bashing' Dumbledore, per se, but his flaws will be acknowledged properly instead of just sweeping them under the rug.
