I chose Alhaitham as he's my all-time favourite Genshin character, as you can see in my profile! Scaramouche is Dottore's latest test subject, he has been through several experiments in the past, but this one almost broke him. After the latest experiment to find out exactly how scaramouche was created, Scaramouche heard faint cries and screams of a young girl. He then went to investigate, because somewhere in his non-existent heart, he felt pity and sorrow, he didn't want any child to go through the pain and suffering he did. [ I've seen the head-canon of Scaramouche and Collei having like a sibling/friend bond since they were both test subjects of Dottore, so i wanted to write that headcanon out. And in this AU they end up kind of being each others Sibling/Family, etc. ] ALSO: this is purely a headcanon/AU written story. Inazumas boarders are finally opened and the Travler decides to take two individuals to where their journey has begun months ago. One of the individuals falls in love with one certain maiden. Prepare for some depressing sh!t to go down as I proceed to lose my sanity.

After Crepus' death, Diluc and Jean travel together, eventually winding up with a bit of a history and a home in Snezhnaya. They've settled in to life together, but when their oldest companion pays them a visit, there's no escaping the ghosts they've left in their wake. One big change from canon is that Jean's vision is Cryo instead of Anemo. There's a reason for that, dear readers, I promise. It'll come into play more as time goes on but for now it's just a fluff element. This is an idea I'm playing with that I like. Putting this first chapter out to test the waters. Hope you enjoy!
