Seven days before Christmas, a snowstorm sweeps across the town of Churchill. Sydney gets snowed in at the Sugar Sweet Café with Dion Gallenger, a friend she's known since high school. According to the forecast, the weather won't be letting up for at least two days. So the two are stuck at the café for forty-eight hours. Alone. And that's only the beginning. Over the the next week, a lot is about to go down for the pair (such as flaming Christmas trees, inhumanly large and lopsided gingerbread houses and... Rudolph appearing at the front door?). Is this a good time to mention the three-year crush Sydney's been harbouring on Dion? No? Well toss that into the mix too. It's about to be the wildest Christmas season Sydney and Dion have ever experienced.

Feyre and Rhys' son has a snow day, and what was going to be a peaceful day between the two of them, has now turned into a snow-filled one for three.

Let's say buses have been cancelled because of major snow fall, and the school's population dropped to less then a quarter of what it usually is. Teachers gone, most of your friends no where to be seen, and sounds coming from lockers. Where are the sounds coming from? Monsters. Monsters? Monsters!

The newly knighted guardian, Jack Frost, is thoroughly surprised to see that a little girl he rescued from a winter storm still remembers him years later. Elina has always been made fun by her classmates for still believing in stories that her parents would tell her as a child. She swore up and down that the she had seen the mythical Jack Frost when she was little. It was a blurry mess of a memory, but she could have sworn it was him. Maybe it was finally time to let these fantasies of her childhood go; maybe it was time for her to finally join her friends in their high school careers and leave all of those thoughts behind her, or maybe a chance encounter will change how she sees the world for the better, or the worse.
