A short story set in a future where climate change has resulted in messed up weather patterns, unbearably hot temperatures, and where snow is a thing of the past.

Jessica sat by her window, watching snowflakes drift down, holding a warm coffee mug. Since her father passed away, her mother had raised her alone. With no brothers or sisters, they relied on each other even more. One day, Jessica's aunt invited her to spend the summer in the countryside. But there was a catch-her aunt wanted Jessica to marry her son, Ron, who was interested in the property Jessica inherited from her father. Jessica didn't like Ron and had no desire to marry him. But her mother believed Ron was the right choice, especially now that Jessica was old enough to manage her father's property. Ron and his mother eagerly awaited this opportunity. Jessica felt torn between following her family's wishes and her own feelings. As she watched the snowflakes melt on the window, she knew she had to make a choice that would shape her future, even if it meant going against her family's expectations and risking everything she held dear.

The night she was born, the moon turned red... and a forgotten curse awakened. In the snow-lost village of Vanshikapur, where whispers travel faster than the wind, Aranya's birth was not a blessing - it was a warning.
