A little story I wrote for creative writing at school :)

A small village in a place with no time, surrounded by a deadly forest where people have entered, never to return. Grace is bored with the continuous nightmare she calls home and plans to enter the Sleeping Giant Forest, but will everything work out? Will she defy the past and make it back from the woods alive? When Natalie finds a snow globe with mysterious etched letters into the bottom of it, she starts to investigate the mystery. What she finds in the end is both enchanting and shocking.

National Couples Day is coming up, and Victoria has just bought a special snow globe for Victor.

In this cold city, people can shrink to 1 mm. From the age of 16, a person develops the Shrink. Kew, whose real name nobody knows, makes large snow globes for 1 mm-people, escapist snow globes where time stands still and you remain young. For a 1 mm person, one year is a regular person's 10 years. Shrinking is banned, because of how it messes with time. But in Kew's hideout, these snow globes let people shrink and choose a world to spend the rest of their lives in. Stocked with a handful of rice, you'll have food for the rest of your life. Kew himself hasn't shrunk in 4 years. Nobody knows why he can't. Lita, 16, wants to save her little brother, who is afraid of dying. She'll do anything to get him a spot in a snow globe, but things aren't that easy. For one, he's only 13. But she's heard of Kew. They say he can do impossible things. He can cure diseases, make magic and freeze time, they say. She may have even seen it. So, she only needs to strike the perfect bargain.

Sebenarnya ada sedikit rasa tidak rela ketika aku menyerahkan snow globe itu. Karena benda itulah yang selalu menemaniku ketika aku akan tidur atau ketika aku sedang rindu dengan Bryan. Tapi karena sekarang aku bukan pacarnya lagi , jadi snow globe itu bukan milikku lagi.
