Snowpatrol Histoires

A collection of songs, written by me, loved by me, recommended to me or other Wattpadders' songs. These will come with full credit. Some songs may contain swearing. The songs in here that I put in will be the ones that get stuck in my head or are on my newest CD. I don't get CD's often, but I've got a few aren't burned. Those that are willprobably make their way on here eventually.

Inspired by the song Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. All Donnie Taylor-Chavez wants is to catch up to the chaos of life; Pass high school tests, have enough money to sustain herself, apply for every scholarship, and eventually relax and enjoy life as it comes. But no matter how fast she runs to grasp enough time to take a breath, she never seems to be fast enough. Her head is spinning with a million concepts, times, and places to remember, and on top of that, her somewhat large family is a constant recipe for whirlwinds. But there's one person in her life that understands this like no other, more than willing to remind her of the beauty in the chaos, and to simply enjoy a moment of peace with. They're the anchors that keep each other afloat. "Those three words are said too much. They're not enough."

Althea always thought that it would be nice have a protective older brother. However, when her mother marries a man with a college-age son, he does not at all fit this profile. When he bothers to visit, she needs protection from him instead of by him. Frustrated and confused, she wonders how she managed to have such bad luck. In the future, however, she finds out more about the young man who was supposed to be her brother, and she has to decide whether or not to forgive him for his actions. *All artwork originally sketched by burdgebug over various years, colored in recently by me*
