(Book 2 of Vanished) Four months has passed since everyone over the age of fifteen vanished. As canned food runs out, hunger drives survivors to desperate measures. Then a new threat arrives. A brutal snowstorm unlike anything from the old world. The snow burns on contact and wind that carries a deadly virus. With the power grid completely down, injuries and illness spread fast, and death begins to claim more lives than ever. Just as hope seems loss, unexpected dangers and choices emerge that could change everything.

Tracy is a small town girl with modest ambitions. She bumps heads with her boss, Duncan, a privileged techie when she gets an internship in San Francisco. The two do not see eye to eye until a surprise business trip to Tracy's hometown gradually turns things around. Or, at least, that's what Duncan thought until Tracy's odd relationship with Winter comes forth. Could twelve days of Winter festivities melt the ice between them?

I began to panic when I saw him again. Normally, I struggle with recognizing faces, I can see someone dozens of times and still fail to remember them but his face had imprinted itself in my mind. Moon, Qibli, and Winter decided to hang out together for a short while after a busy charade. Unfortunately, they met an unfortunate event that led them to seek refuge in an old home. Stuck with each other, the three of them decided to share their awkward moments together, all the while the snowstorm goes on... A supposed to be oneshot for the precious Qinterwatcher ship I've been 'mooning' on for months now. This was made to share my appreciation for this ship, all before Book 14 comes out (unless I come up with more chapters, that is, but very unlikely). Christopher Bethel goes over to his favorite diner to have a slice of cake and a hot cup of cocoa despite the snow outside but he gets stuck in the diner with only the barista, a waitress and a cute lady at the far end of the diner, soaked by melted snow. Snowstorm teams up with his friends and maybe some dead dragons as well. Can they figure out why this is happening and fix it before it is all too late? And what he left behind for her is the most astonishing part that would start a chain of unforeseen events. This is a short story that just came to me one day by reading a different story authored by a close friend of mine. I was even able to present this as a piece for a Fine Arts Scholarship this weekend which was amazing. This took a long time to piece together and perfect, so I do hope that you will enjoy it.
