Just a story about soap and ghost

Moving into a new apartment was supposed to be a fresh start-a quiet, uncomplicated chapter in your life. The place is perfect: a cozy bedroom, a sleek kitchen, and a living room just waiting to be lived in. But the moment you lock eyes with your neighbor, all thoughts of a "quiet life" go right out the window. John "Soap" MacTavish is everything you didn't know you needed: charming, rugged, and undeniably, painfully hot. As walls-both in the building and between your own guarded hearts-start to thin, you find yourself drawn into his orbit. What begins as neighborly small talk in the hallway quickly spirals into something much more intense.

Every chapter can be read as an one shot unless stated differently at the start of a chapter. There is progression of feelings over the chapters. Ghost lost his childhood, he never got to be a kid and Soap does everything to give it back to him. Ghost never had the opportunity to play tag with his parents, the only tag he ever played was with the enemy that either wanted to kill him or the other way around. Ghost never got to build a pillow fort and lay on a soft blanket. Ghost never got to be childish or careless. Soap decided to change that. or Ghost finally experiences tenderness and fun.
