When Saydi Moretti returns to her former home in Lake Forest, California, she finds that things were not as she left them. She has to work to fit pieces of her together, find out where Paris fits, trace back her family's legacy and know her true name because it may be more powerful than even she could have fathomed.

I just started this to publish a poem I wrote about school shootings, but I do dabble in poetry so this might grow into something else in the future. I'm not here to start arguments, I'm here for the community and freedom to explore. This is a poem I wrote about the wind in Rialto and Fontana, CA. .

Alexandr Blake is a young marine photographer who is out trying to prove to his parents that he didn't ruin his life by not becoming a lawyer. But after a tragic diving accident leading to the death of his best friend and coworker, Alexandr is sent to the Leeward Islands to mentally recover after the accident-against his will. When he shuts everyone out except for an amnesia patient staying on the mainland, he ends up on a wild goose chase to find a sunken submarine, a missing father, and a deep sea fish only seen a handful of times. After searching the world for an answer he can't seem to find, Alexandr takes a step back and realizes the truth may have been right in front of him the whole time.

okay yes, the two older ones are a little old to still be living at home but they just were waiting for the younger one. that's a lie but we're going to pretend it's not. like most of their lives, it's just a bunch of white lies and no data of them in any public records because they changed their names and are on a road trip that thousands believe is just a viral scary story on twitter. it was only supposed to last a week but here they are so close to their next stop can't they have just one more day?

Fate, a beautiful magnet, brings these two together during their most vulnerable time to comfort each other in an unexpected place: a bus stop. Fate, a cruel puppeteer, converts their sincere connection into a point of manipulation for their families to trap them in everything they've been trying to escape: class, expectations, pressure, and the futures they're supposed to perform. Now they must decide whether their connection is a means of autonomy and finally choosing their own desires openly, or falling into the web of control and manipulation that both of their families have set forth. "Broken Fragments" is a slow-burn story about two exhausted souls navigating identity, family pressure, and the iridescent fragments that can either culminate to form a beautiful mural, or blind one's eyes from the truth and form irreparable scars.

Sky was not one to believe in love at first sight. So why should she believe in love at first touch? Having to grow up in California it was difficult for her to find the right one. Every decent boyfriend she had (which were 2 boyfriends) always left her heartbroken. She knew it was her fault, she was a plain girl with boring brown eyes and long brown wavy hair, (your typical pacific-islander). Not to mention her mildly dark skin tone. Sky strongly believed that she had no chance with any man that walks into her boring, stereotypical life. But when Jordan, a complete stranger, unexpectedly enters her life her emotions go against her stubborn mind. Will Jordan become one of those hopeless fantasies? Or will he be Sky's savior?

The rumors come up now and then but is it because of a crazy follower who is obsessed with them? Or is it the truth? Probably the truth but let's find out!

I decided to keep an online journal in an effort to get back into the flow of writing and to have a presence online. In this journal, I will talk about my experiences with the Backcountry Trails Program (BCTP), the California Conservation Corps (CCC), college experiences, and other things that I may come across during the next year. I'll try to keep it interesting and try my hardest to be vulnerable with you which might be a challenge. Anyways, thanks for reading if you do end up reading it.
