Step into a world of heartbreak and societal pressures. In this play, we explore the harsh realities of Indian culture, where the concepts of love and personal choice are often overshadowed by the expectations and judgment of others. Our story follows a widowed wife of a martyr, who sacrificed his life for his nation. As she navigates her grief and tries to find love again, she is met with a barrage of criticism from those around her. As we journey with her through this emotional rollercoaster, we confront the difficult questions of what it means to truly love and be loved. Can we allow someone to move on from loss and find happiness, or must they be shackled to their grief forever? Through this powerful and thought-provoking play, we invite you to explore the depths of human emotion and the societal pressures that can often stifle personal growth and happiness. Get ready to be moved to tears and inspired to take a closer look at the world around you.

They write to escape the world... only to be consumed by the very stories meant to set them free. Paid in promises, fed on hope, and trapped in a cycle of endless work, they strive for a platform that takes everything and offers only the illusion of success. There is no relief, only more chapters. In this world, ambition is a cage, and success means you'll never leave.

"Since ancient times, the Archmage has kept watch over the world of magic and its wielders. Era after era, he has passed on the mantle to his successor. The world you knew is now much bigger. You are now the Archmage." Amos Hammond never believed in magic, or much else for that matter, until he's suddenly vested with the Mantle of Archmage. Now he has to oversee the world of magic, (mostly around his college campus in St. Augustine, Florida) albeit without any help aside from his roomate and his kinda-sorta but not really girlfriend.

"Whenever magic is concerned, being pedantic is a virtue." With these words, Cecil Meyers embarks on a life shaping journey through himself and his society. A story I wrote awhile ago based on a random idea. My first (and so-far only) High Fantasy story. Also I have a lot in mind for the world this is set in.

Despa lives his life, day after day, locked up in his own room. The world outside that area is meaningless to him, as he will never have to interact with it. Thankfully, he still has the one thing that no one else seems to have in his day-in-age: a reflection. After Surculus, Earth A and Earth B have never been the same, and reflecting is the new norm. By reflecting, one can travel over to the other Earth and interact with the alternate reality. Many embrace this scientific and social breakthrough whole-heartedly, while others... not so much. Then again, how does this affect Despa? It doesn't... that's the point.

This my first submission to Wattpad may owe some elements of verbal style, and a title (which of course is also an idea) to Dylan Thomas, but the two schools are as different as...well, as UC Berkeley and Hillsdale College! Thomas holds session in a Celtic timelessness protected from the Sassenach and his rationality by bad weather and all the Powers of Darkness; my own, nine years old though it is, in a Today still as current, and perhaps more so, than anything based on the psychobabble du jour of the Media of Mass Misinformation. Although perhaps not as YOU have been accustomed to perceive it,dear Reader...

The story begins with a young woman, ARY a fresh college graduate from a country riddled with corruption and systemic inefficiencies. ARY had always believed that her education would be the key to escaping the struggles of her family, who sacrificed everything to see her succeed. But reality crushed those hopes. For four months, ARY had sent out countless resumes, walked into endless interviews, and faced rejection after rejection. Every company wanted experience-experience she didn't have, fresh out of school. Bills piled up, her family's debts loomed larger, and her parents, who had once looked at her with pride, now wore shadows of worry on their faces. The weight of failure pressed down on her, suffocating her spirit. She felt like an anchor dragging her family further into the depths of poverty, despite their endless sacrifices. One particularly suffocating evening, Mira sat in her dimly lit room, staring at the peeling paint on the walls. Tears streamed down her face as she clutched her knees to her chest, replaying her failures like a broken record. Her thoughts spiraled into darker places. What's the point of all this? she thought. I'm just a burden. I can't give them anything in return for all they've done for me. I just want a chance, a single little chance to prove that I can work without those expected experiences. ARY glanced at the rejection emails glowing mockingly on her laptop screen, and the only source of light in the room-a flickering desk lamp. She knelt beside her bed, clasping her hands tightly. For the first time in her life, she didn't pray for hope, guidance, or a miracle. Instead, she prayed for an end. "Please," she whispered, her voice cracking under the weight of her despair. "If you're listening, whoever you are... let me help my parents before i rest." Her tears fell freely onto the bedsheets as her body trembled. Exhausted by the emotional toll, she crawled into bed and closed her eyes, not knowing if she would ever wake again.
