"I stay up all night, tell myself I'm alright..." Everyone thought December 21, 2025, was just another cold morning leading to Christmas. But for her, it was the day the sun stopped rising. She was the girl who guarded her soul like a sanctuary, holding onto a sacred vow for the altar. But in the quiet shadows of a boarding house, a "simple conversation" turned into a haunting that would last a lifetime. She didn't die that night, but the girl she used to be was buried in the silence of that room. Now, she is a prisoner of her own skin, forced to dance with the phantom heat of hands that weren't invited and a whisper that feels like broken glass. Because some ghosts don't haunt houses-they haunt the people they've broken. A story of a silent scream, a stolen peace, and the tragic dance between a survivor and the memory that refuses to let her go.

They told us slavery ended. They told us freedom came. But everywhere you look, invisible chains still rule minds. From classrooms in Africa to lecture halls in Asia, from exams to career opportunities, English-the language of former colonial powers-decides who succeeds, who fails, and who is left behind. The Silent Rulers explores the global legacy of language, education, and power. It's a journey through history, culture, and identity, asking a bold question: if our freedom depends on mastering someone else's words, are we truly free? This is a book for thinkers, dreamers, and anyone ready to see the chains that bind us... and imagine breaking them.

This story is for a story writing competition in Bangladesh, giving that the topic is " Journey To Civility ". This story is based on real life experiences of mine, just with names altered. The story and events are mostly fiction. This story is meant for all age groups and children appropriate. Please pray so I win! 🤍🌼 Ulli Ricci is an Italian girl born into one of Italy's respected aristocratic families, meaning she can become a debutante. But could she? This is something she's to fear the most. Her parents, Frederico Ricci and Nelly Giordano, do at least. They think debutante balls were the most unsuitable for their three children: Twins Ursula and Ulli, and Alexander Ricci. Moreover, Alexander was autistic and the twins were socially unapproachable for some apparent reason. Ulli and Ursula have long been the target of bullying and taunting by classmates and their own maternal cousin, Aubrey Giordano, too when their mother tells them that their pictures sent on Instagram stories were screenshot by Aubrey's friend Wendy, calling them weird and joking about them. For the case of Ulli's brother, Alexander? He's always being taken advantage of as he's incapable to defend himself. His toys are snatched by his younger cousins, who have no shame to do such because his autism makes him unable to retaliate and he ends up crying in these situations. Not only that, their community in Sicily was filled with fickle minded people who thought bullying special children, and in general, those socially unapproachable. Ulli and Ursula decide to start slow, by removing this terrible influence from family, and to others. They believe that there's still room for humanity in a heartless earth. ( Don't mean to expose much, but yes, the main character here's a representation of me, and in real life I do have a twin sister and autistic younger brother. Please pray for us! 🤍 )

In a world that often silences its youth, the unspoken rage and resilience of a generation demand to be heard. When Silence Sparks the Storm captures the quiet fury of Gen Z-voices restrained by expectation, society, and circumstance, yet unstoppable in their truth. Through restless streets, burning cities, and flashing lights, this poem follows the pulse of a generation refusing to be ignored, highlighting the moments when silence becomes a weapon, and every spark ignites change. It's not just chaos; it's a cry for justice, a call for awareness, and a reminder that even in turmoil, courage grows. Each line is a reflection of the fires within, the battles fought in plain sight, and the hope that persists despite the noise. This is a poem for those who feel unseen, for those whose voices have been minimized, and for anyone ready to witness the power of silence transformed into action. Read closely. Listen. The storm is coming-and it carries a message you cannot ignore.

"Love" the word, which most of have experienced in lot many ways and during different phases of life. It's the feeling which grower deeper and deeper, which grows naturally and which can lead to all its extents. Not all kind of love are celebrated in society, some are accepted, some are rejected while some just die under the pressure of society. Acceptance of same sex love is still a questionable aspect in our society, understanding the depths of ocean filled with emotions needs to be addressed; as not all love stories ends as fairy tale, few just never start or many of them die under pressure. Though this narrative I am trying to address that story of love, story of struggle and story of emotions of a queer individual. The story here revolves around a gay guy, who is born and brought up in the city of Ahmedabad under a conservative and heteronormative society. The story talks about the dreams which protagonist Joe has seen above his future. It even talks about the struggle of achieving dreams, career, self-acceptance, confusions, dating, finding a perfect partner, managing relationship, understandings and not last or least but acceptance from the society.

A forsaken world that is obscured by widespread illiteracy, time appears to decelerate, as if an essential process remains secreted, denying progress to those left abandoned without the key to literacy. Is the world inherently just, or does it harbor injustice?
