Schools closed for the rest of the year. I can't go anywhere. I have to socially isolate myself so I can't expose myself to the Corona-Virus while also managing my mental health. ___________________________________________ This is my story of when COVID-19 impacted on my everyday life and everything changed from here on out. -Authors note

In 2020 we faced our worst enemy. A virus outbreak known as the corona virus or covid 19 took the world by storm. It initially began in wuhan China. According to unknown reports many claims were made that this disease was contracted by humans after they consumed infected bat and snake meat in a restaurant. These resturants underwent thorough testing to ensure the meat was safe for consumation. But the nature of this virus was such that no detection could be made in its early stages when they knew about it. It was too late, before governments could comprehend about the whole situation it had spread around the world. The best medical teams tried to come up with the antidote while the death rate increased with every passing moment. The internet and television were flooded with this sudden phenomena. Humanity stared towards an uncertain future. Now thirty years later in 2050 .... Would you like to know what is in store for you?. ( the names of characters and the plot line are completely fictitious the information regarding the covid 19 virus are derived from conceptual theories obtained from various articles in the internet).

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people, and those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness. Stay aware of the latest information on the COVID-19 outbreak, available on the WHO (World Health Organization)website and through your national and local public health authority. Physical distancing measures are a way to reduce COVID-19 transmission in the community by minimizing close contact with others, especially people who are at high risk for severe illness during the peak of the outbreak.

The disease causes respiratory illness (like the flu) with symptoms such as a cough, fever, and in more severe cases, difficulty breathing. You can protect yourself by washing your hands frequently, avoiding touching your face, and avoiding close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell. While cleaning out the attic on the first day of spring (because her mom Catherine put it on the calendar, which is the only way to get anything done), Josie finds a beautiful pink dress that belonged to her grandmother.
